Often cited as Malaysia's national dish, nasi lemak is traditionally eaten at breakfast, though it can most definitely be enjoyed any time of the day. A basic nasi lemak consists of coconut steamed rice with pandan, boiled egg, cucumber, ikan bilis, peanuts and sambal, great on its own and even better with added beef rendang, as I had here at Nasi Lemak & Satay.
Where do you eat your nasi lemak and who serves the best beef rendang? Leave a comment and let me know!
