Pizza & Pasta @ Little Italy - Downtown

Judging by the evening crowds (and I mean every evening) Little Italy must be everyone's favourite Italian restaurant here in KK. It's definitely my first choice for Pizza.
Today we had an early evening craving for Italian food, so why not take advantage and beat the evening crowds!
I thought I'd try a new topping today and picked Pollo E Funghi which is marinated chicken with mushrooms. The chicken was plentiful and had a smokey, bbq taste along with fresh mushrooms and their wonderful tomato sauce, topped with chewy mozzarella cheese. The base is very important to me when it comes to pizza and Little Italy do a superb job with their thin and crispy base.

The Little Nibbler loves their Lasagne All Emiliana so this was todays selection. I was lucky enough to try this and it was delicious. Pasta sheets with a rich, minced beef sauce, lots of cheese and again that garlicky tomato sauce. Yum-yum!

Another favourite pick is the homemade lemonade, truly a refreshing drink on a hot sunny day or a hot and humid night!

Little Italy is located downtown below Capital Hotel and directly across the road from Wisma Merdeka.

Tasty!

Refreshing!

The Bill : 1x Large Pizza, 1x Lasagne, 2x Large Lemonade = 83.15 MYR

If you love great Pizza, Pasta and a lively, buzzing atmosphere head down to Little Italy any night of the week!

Airline Food @ AirAsia - 30 000 ft

When you pre-book your online meal with Airasia not only do you receive up to 15% discount on your order but on a long haul flight you also get two meals.
The Little Nibbler ordered me the vegetarian menu, knowing deep down that I am a very health conscience person! (I'll try and keep a straight face) So first up was the Spinach and Mushroom Lasagne, don't let looks fool you, this was actually quite tasty. Spinach and Mushroom in a rich tomato sauce, between layers of pasta and topped with cheese, not a bad effort considering the location!

Nice Views.

Also added on a coke, it's important to stay hydrated while flying!

Second up was Beancurd Kung Pao with Steamed Rice, again I quite liked this! Fried Beancurd, red and green peppers, cashew nuts and chilli in a spicy, sweet and sour sauce served with rice, quite tasty indeed.

I'm not sure where we are now???

The Bill : Sorry can't remember the pre-booked price but on board I'm sure it's 15 MYR a meal and 5 MYR for soft drinks.

As I've said I quite like Airasia's food, does this mean there's something wrong with me?
