Chinese Food @ Restaurant Beaufort - Taman Land Breeze

One of my favourite restaurants in KK, I've been following this place around town since the fire that gutted the shop on Jalan Penampang, hopefully now, fingers crossed it has a fixed location! The new restaurant is big, bright and spotlessly clean with helpful, friendly staff. With the added bonus of an English menu I can happily order to my hearts content! Sweet & Sour Fish took my fancy and it came packed with fresh fish and vegetables, including red and green peppers, onion, cucumber and red chilli for a bit of heat, served with nasi putih, yum!

The Little Nibbler opted for dry style Beaufort Noodles with Seafood, the noodles were savoury and fried with fresh fish slice, prawns and squid as well as a little green veggie, excellent, though it has to be said we both do prefer the wet style variety.

We also ordered the Char Siu Omelette, pretty self explanatory, with added onions and chives, I really enjoyed this.

Restaurant Beaufort is now located literally around the corner from its original shop on Jalan Penampang, and is now in Taman Land Breeze.

Wan Ton Ho @ Restoran Beaufort - Kampong Air

I've been meaning to try Restoran Beaufort at its new location for some time now, as this is one of my favourite eateries I was rather upset to see it closed down following the devastating fire at the tyre garage next door. Luckily all's well and the food is just as delicious at its new location at Kampong Air.
I have to say it was a tough choice this morning, whether to go for their signature Beaufort noodles or another favourite of mine, wan ton ho. Well the eggy noodles with pork won the vote and what can I say but, deeeeelcious! The rice noodles were loaded as ever with pork, veggies and egg sauce with the added kick of chilli sauce, applied by me!

The fire damaged restaurant and the totally gutted tyre garage. Looks to me like they will probably have to pull the whole block down!

Restoran Beaufort is now located at the Ruby Hotel, Kampong Air.

The Bill : 1x Wan Ton Ho, 1x Chinese Teh Ping = 7.50 MYR

The location may have changed but the food is just as amazing @ Restoran Beaufort!

Chinese Food @ Restaurant Beaufort 88 - Marketplace 88

I love it when we find a great new restaurant, well, new to us anyway. This was definitely the case with Restaurant Beaufort 88. We've been past it a few times before and it always looked busy, so tonight The Little Nibbler suggested we should give it a go. Good work Nibbler!!! With a friendly waitress highlighting a few items, I went for one of her suggestions of fried choy sum with pork. This was simple and delicious, healthy greens stir fried with tender pork.

The Nibbler wanted to try an omelette so we opted for the prawn with fried egg, juicy prawns with fluffy eggs. Yum!

Another pick by The Nibbler of kon lau mee with char siu. Another great choice! This was really quite different to any other kon lau mee we've eaten before, the sauce was quite herbal in taste and the char siu was extremely lean, a great dish!

Restaurant Beaufort 88 is located at Marketplace 88, just off Jalan Pintas.

The Bill : 1x Fried Choy Sum, 1x Prawn Omelette, 1x Kon Lau Mee, 2x Nasi Putih, 1x Teh C Ping, 1x Chinese Teh Ping = 26.70 MYR

Looking forward to my return visit already!

Noodles @ Restaurant Beaufort - Jalan Penampang

Craving noodles tonight we decided to go to one of our favourite places, Restaurant Beaufort. We've only ever eaten noodles here and the quality has always been superb, though we shall expand on our range of dishes as I'm very happy to announce that Restaurant Beaufort has introduced an English menu!
The Little Nibbler ordered dry style Beaufort noodles with seafood. They got the thumbs up all round and had that wonderful smoky taste that only a really hot wok will provide.

I opted for wantan ho with seafood, a generous portion of fish slice, prawn and squid with green veg and flat noodles in a delicious egg gravy. I love this dish!

Restaurant Beaufort is located on Jalan Penampang heading towards Lido, it's bright and yellow and hard to miss!

The Bill : 1x Beaufort Noodle, 1x Wantan Ho, 1x Kopi C Ping, 1x Chinese Teh Ping = 20.70 MYR

With their new English menu it won't be long till my next blog @ Restaurant Beaufort!

Beaufort Noodles @ Restaurant Beaufort - Jalan Penampang

Restaurant Beaufort serves an amazing dish called Beaufort Noodles. You can have your noodles wet or dry with a choice of meat or seafood. My choice was wet with seafood, fried noodles come served with a generous portion of mixed seafood including prawn, squid and fried fish slice. You also get a healthy portion of choy sum too. All this comes topped with a thick savoury sauce, you can definitely taste that smoky taste that only comes from a very hot wok. This dish is simply awesome, so so tasty.

The Little Nibbler also opted for wet style noodles but with pork. The dish was as above but with a generous portion of char siu and pork slice. The Nibbler was happy!

Any help with the Chinese menu would be greatly appreciated! Every time we come in to eat noodles everyone else seems to be eating something else and it all looks delicious.

Restaurant Beaufort is located just off Jalan Penampang, heading out of town towards Lido Market & Food Court.

The Bill : 1x Seafood Noodles, 1x Pork Noodles, 1x 100 Plus, 1x Chinese Teh Ping = 17.50 MYR

Restaurant Beaufort is no secret to the people of KK, the place is packed most evenings and in the daytime too. If you havn't been yet don't you think it's time you did, your tastebuds will thank you for it!
