Soba Noodles @ See Below - Asakusa

After a long day of sight seeing the old feet were starting to ache, so all I really wanted, was a nice sit down and an ice cold beer! Noticing that this little place was advertising beer not far from Tawaramachi Station we thought we'd pop in. But alas we couldn't just order a beer so a plate of Soba Noodles was ordered too, oh well! The noodles were simply stir fried with cabbage and beansprouts and seasoned with soy. A mysterious green topping was sprinkled on top - probably seaweed I'm guessing, though The Little Nibbler just called it yukky green stuff! The noodles were simple, cheap and tasty!

The real reason for our visit, a nice cold Asahi, quite cheap for Tokyo standards at 350 ¥.

Again sorry but no idea of the name of this eatery. Though I can tell you it's very close to the exit of Tawaramachi Station, look for Fried Soba Noodles displayed in the window.

The Bill : 1x Soba Noodles, 1x Asahi Beer = 750 ¥

If like me sight seeing makes you thirsty and your around Asakusa you can do a lot worse than pop in here for a cheap and cheerful refuel stop!
